Keyan Scenic Spot has been awarded the honor of "National Well-known Tourism Brand", another national honor the tourist attraction has won since it was named as one of China’s first "AAAA" tourism zones. Of all tourist businesses and institutions of Shaoxing, Keyan Scenic Spot is the only one with such an honor.  

Firms involved in the six fields of tourism industry across the country competed for the honor of "National Well-known Tourism Brand ‘2002". The six fields are tourism cities, hotels, travel agencies, scenic zones, tourism transport companies, and others. Altogether 106 firms shared the glory, among which were 45 scenic zones. The factors used in the evaluation included the total number of visitors, the increase margin in total revenue, and social benefits. Known as “Keyan phenomenon” in the domestic tourism circle, Keyan scenic zone capture the title thanks to its strong appeal, market competition capability, social influence and profitability.  

The activity was approved by the National Tourism Department and held by China Tourism News.
