Luzhen Town Scenic Zone in Keyan officially opened to tourists yesterday and a grand opening ceremony was held last night.  

With the first Lu Xun cultural theme park in China officially opening to tourists, the two "big mysteries" that had captured local residents’ imagination were no more. Zhou Haiying, the only child of Lu Xun, has assumed the Honorary Head of Luzhen Town. The descendent of Master Lu Xun had expressed his willingness to assume this post and yesterday he came all the way from Beijing and accepted the “key to the Town” from Wang Yongchang, mayor of Shaoxing.  

The formal "Town Head" has not been yet chosen. According to the Committee, it is difficult to find "the Head" as the ideal head must have certain connection with Lu Xun, have a great public reputation, and be good at managing the business of this special tourist attraction. Though a very ideal candidate is not available so far, the scenic town will put this matter in a long-time prospect and continue to seek a right person.  

As for "Xiangling’s Wife", a figure in a well known short story by Lu Xun, the scenic management says they have chosen one. It is said that “Xiangling’s Wife” was chosen from over 30 candidates. The 45-year-old "Xiangling’s Wife" comes from a rural area in Shengzhou city. This woman looks honest and kind. The way she talks and does things reminds people of the prototype figure in Lu Xun’s work. More importantly, she has a good performance talent. After a short-period training, Xiangling’s Wife began her work yesterday.
